I was in a relationship for 16 years that came to an end in 2006. Since then I retired from the travel business in 2015 and moved from the east coast to LA. While I have been mostly complacent with my life, I miss sharing experiences with someone special. You could say that I haven’t really dated for a long time, so I’m a bit rusty. I’m interested in friendship and companionship, not just a hook-up.

Traveling is something I really enjoy. I have traveled cross-country twice by train; love to cruise; enjoy traveling with a group of friends, organized tours, and independently. Thanks to my work, I am fortunate to have traveled to many places around the world. I learned that I could travel alone and enjoy myself but I would also like to share those experiences with someone special. So, get your passport ready!

What’s for dinner? I think I have a fairly open palate. I’m no master chef but I enjoy cooking. I can follow a recipe and sometimes successfully wing it. But I also like to eat out, from hot dogs to lobster.

Do you also like quiet evenings at home, maybe with a movie and some wine, occasional visits to a gallery or museum, small gatherings with friends? Then maybe we have some things in common.

The truth is I am a bit of an introvert. That mainly means that after being with lots of people for a while, I need some quiet time to recharge my battery, either alone or preferably with someone special.
